How Healthy Are You?

movemberHere at The Muse Marketing Group, we believe that everyone’s health is an important topic.  So much so, that we have worked in conjunction with the American Cancer Society to help them fight the good fight.  In the United States today, men have a shorter life expectancy than women.  There is a lack of awareness among men about the factors that can affect their well-being.   Most importantly, there is a lack of communication with their health care professionals about how they are feeling and experiencing on a regular basis.

Over the past several years, there are a couple of groups that are seeking to change this.  The importance of these issues have been brought to light with the American Cancer Society’s No Shave November and Movember.  Both groups seek to raise awareness about cancer with Movember  specifically targeting prostate and testicular cancer.  Movember also seeks to raise awareness on men’s mental health.  No one gender group’s health is more important than the other.  They are both equally important.

So, if you have a loved one that you would like to make aware of common health issues and find out more about indicators of each, then visit the websites for No Shave November and Movember.  And remember, if you can, donate.  If you can’t donate, volunteer to help.  If you can’t volunteer, then share this important information with everyone that you can.
