Our long-time client, Varsity Club Products came to us to create their first and second websites. They realized the time had come for The Muse Marketing Group to create their third.
Due to the nature of Varsity Club’s business, we knew that the setup of the new site must be as straightforward as possible. Our client required a new site that could grow with the numbers of schools and products that Varsity Club supplies.
After discussing the best ecommerce options available to suit Varsity Club Products’ needs, it was decided that the new site would be created through Shopify. Shopify has a platform specifically focused on a user-friendly ecommerce system.
Shopify’s platform has everything needed to create a fully functional site. Users can easily add products along with their details, photos, pricing and options. Products can be added to specific collections so that they show up on a particular school’s page or by product type (accessories, caps & gowns, cords, etc.).
Shopify also has a variety of themes that are easily customizable and mobile friendly. Information and products can be arranged in a way that is most beneficial to the online shop. Themes are easily updateable, keeping safety protocols for SSL and ecommerce security current. Additionally, Shopify has a variety of payment options that can be integrated to work with their websites and can be used to accept payments from multiple countries.
As if that weren’t enough, Shopify also has a number of apps available to make the best use of the site, product options and transaction and merchandise data, maximizing the versatility of the individual shop.
