Muse is proud to be participating, again this year, in American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events. To kick things off, we’ll be at the Make Strides Breakfast on August 15th in Newark—the first in a series of happenings to climax in the Making Strides of Newark, NJ Walk this October. Last year, the Muse team helped raise the more than $379,000 brought in through Newark-based efforts alone. The breakfast is a great way to re-energize ourselves for this year’s walk. Muse is donating all of the art direction and other creative services to the United Civil Servants in putting together the 2014 Newark Fire Department calendar. The calendar, the first since 2008, will feature a different shirtless model each month. All models are active-duty Newark firemen. Shooting starts in spring with James Giles as photographer. Proceeds will go to help Sandy victims. Calendars will be available online when ready.
Muse Marketing joined in the journey to end breast cancer, which took a big step forward in the American Cancer Society 2012 Making Strides of Newark NJ walk on Sunday, October 12. Military Park was the starting point for the 15,000 people who rallied at the event, with Team Muse adding nearly $1,000 to the $420,000 raised.
