UAS Announces Scholarship Winners

From our June 20, 2012, Newsletter The Union Accolade Scholarship Fund of the Newark Fire Officer’s Union Committee, on which Muse President/CEO Angela Anemoyanis serves, proudly announced the three Newark public high school senior class recipients who each earned a $1,000 scholarship: Brianna R. Jones of Technology High School, and both Darius O. Thurman and Fantasia Z. Williams of Science Park High School. Jones, Thurman, and Williams will each get to use their winnings toward their respective collegiate educational pursuits. We congratulate them!

Fun in the Sun at UCS’ Blaze On The Beach July 6

From our June 20, 2012, Newsletter Another of our clients, the United Civil Servants, will hold its annual Blaze On The Beach on Friday, July 6, at Donovan’s Reef in Sea Bright beginning at noon. In addition to having a good time with your UCS brothers and sisters, $2 will be donated from each pink t-shirt sold towards breast cancer research. This continues UCS’ annual tradition of using Blaze on the Beach as a vehicle to benefit a brother or sister in need while also celebrating camaraderie.
