It’s Rubber Ducky Day. These cute little novelties bring us back to our younger years, when we used to play with them in the bathtub. Let’s revisit that for a minute or two and sing along with Ernie. You know you want to sing along. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mh85R-S-dh8
It’s probably been a long time since most of us have felt or experienced holiday magic. Do you remember the feeling you used to get driving around the neighborhood to see everyone’s lights and holiday displays? Do you remember the feeling of seeing tree lightings in town or at Rockefeller Center? Do you remember opening that toy you wanted the most? Do you remember playing with the box it came in directly after? It would be great to feel that way again. Let’s all sample some holiday activities that we can take part in and enjoy this year. December 21st is National Coquito Day. This “Little Coconut” is a Puerto Rican holiday drink that is given as a gift and shared. Most families have their own recipes and pass them down from generation to generation. Coquito is typically made with a combination of rum, cream of coconut, coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Do you remember when ugly sweaters were just that? Remember hoping that you wouldn’t get one as a gift? Those days are over. Nowadays, people have parties to see who can find the ugliest sweater. It’s become so popular that it has even become an international event. So, does your ugly sweater have what it takes to be a winner? Show us what you’ve got!

Mo’s favorites are Mint Chocolate Chip, and Chocolate Peanut Butter (preferably Breyers). When asked about his favorites, Nick said, “Cookie Dough for Daaaaaaaaaayyyyyyzzzzzz!” Angela said, “I’m a soft serve vanilla wafer cone with jimmies girl. Yes. I…
Now that the holiday season has arrived, it reminds us that there are so many others who are less fortunate. Giving Tuesday reminds us that there are many ways that we can help make life a little easier for someone in need. This year, The Muses are organizing a drive for the organization Not Forgotten. We will be collecting dry goods, toiletries and other non-perishables (no clothing or soft articles, please) that will be donated to homeless shelters, veterans in need and actively deployed servicemen and women. Remember, there are so many ways to help. If you can, donate. If you can’t,…
